Building is in Our Blood
Our Story
David Larson is a fourth generation builder. His great-grandfather and grandfather built homes and barns in South Dakota, and his father built homes and barns in Chico, California and Klamath Falls, Oregon. David’s father loved building and took his boys to work with him all summer long. David’s first job was driving nails into gussets for trusses that were used to build pole barns. He got paid a penny a nail.
After graduating from Henley High School in Klamath Falls, Oregon, David joined the Army as an infantryman. He was stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia and Schweinfurt, Germany. After his time in the service, David earned his Bachelor’s degree in business from Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls. He worked as a loan officer at a local bank for a while, then ran an underwater dive company, but he never liked being stuck behind a desk. After he scraped up enough money to build his own home, David remembered how much he loved building. He loved creating something beautiful and useful with a little bit of hard work. Not even a year later, David quit his desk job to build homes full-time and has slowly grown Larson Home Builders to where it is now.
Now David and his crew do what they love to do and what they do best: build dream homes. Will you choose David to build your dream home?
